Thanks huntingnet hunters for a great season
It's over. Another season behind me.
I joined this site in October. This was a very enjoyable season for me because of this site. Learned a lot out here this year and most of all, was inspired to keep hunting.
Thanks everyone. Here's to 2004. God Bless.

The season may be over but the hunt continues.

How true that is. Good point and a perfect example of how this site has inspired me. I've never continued the hunt beyond January. This year I will.

Next season i found a big peice of land in king george that i can hunt on. Somebody my mom works with owns it. I'm gonna talk to him pretty soon. I hear very good things. All kinds of game. Turkey, Waterfowl, Deer, upland. It's a nice big hunk of land, too. Hopefully i'll have some luck there. Hopefully i'll also be scouting with tazman.

Hey Mossy that sounds great!!!! King George has a ton of deer and if the place you are talking about doesn't have any hunt clubs working it, it may provide some real bruisers!!! If you want to do some scouting we can get together anytime (as long as my wife hasn't made any plans)!
Will you be able to get me permission also? If not I will still be glad to help you out with some scouting. Do you still have my home phone? I have yours still, but I am one of the worst at calling people, it is my worst fault of many I have!

Consider an attached quiver as well.
Your chances of harvesting increase by 99.9% if you actually take an arrow with you for your bow.

I couldn't agree more, I have enjoyed coming here and I've sure learned a few things here and there along the way. I had droped in here a few times over the years but never decided to post until this season. I never knew what I was missing out on

Yes i can get you permission and I do still have your number as well.. Hear this. This guy tells my mom after she mentioned me hunting that he sees 3-4 deer, From just walking his dog in the morning.
Also, It will be a while before we could scout. I still have a broken leg healing.
