Never while draging but had one stolen out of the back of the truck while we were in a diner eating on the way home from the mountains one time.

Aussie guy had his deer taken from his pick up while he was having lunch on his way home after the kill. I don't know why people do such things. a$$holes.

RE: deer thieves.....

A friend of mine a few years ago had one stolen. He shot a nice buck and while we were looking for it his cousin showed up to help. It was a bad shot and the deer ran a long way. We got seperated from his cousin at one point and heard a 4 wheeler start up. We trailed the deer to a point where we found a gut pile and 4 wheeler tracks. Later that evening we went to the cousin's house and his wife said he had killed a deer that morning and it was hanging in the barn but she hadn't seen him that afternoon. We looked in the barn and my friend said that he was sure that it was the deer he shot. Later that week he confronted the cousin which he denied everything. You can choose your friends but your stuck with your relatives.
