I like to take my knife and poke holes in the roast and stuff it with fresh garlic and onion, then I season the heck out of it and brown it really good before roasting it.

good luck!

try soaking it in buttermilk, or apple juice, thats what my mom does because she hates the "gamey" taste

Brown it in an iron skillet, then put it in a crock pot with a cup of lipton onion soup mix, slow cook it for 8 hours.......It will fall apart just like grandma's roast beef......

Another tastey way is dump in a bottle of italion dressing in the crock w/ some carrots, potatoes, onions and whatever else you want.

many marinades, salad dressings and spices will take care of the game taste, just make sure you don't OVERCOOK venison.the longer you cook it the tougher it gets and looses it's taste.this has been my experience.
