I lift weight 4 days a week and go hiking. Not for hunting, but for the love of it.

I usually work out for 1 1/2 hours each day anyhow. I'm in pretty good shape. Pre-season scouting and stand locations, trimming etc.... will get your butt in shape too.

i wrk out from the time i get up till i go to bed, get up go to wrk, 8-12 hrs a day, 6-7 days week, then play with kids -16 mon. and a 3 yr old--the other two have left for school by time i get home. but even as demanding as kids can be it maybe wouldnt hurt to do a lil more. only ? is when?--LOL

I've always enjoyed working out, not only does it
help to feel my best, but certainly helps with the
endurance involved with hunting hard. I've used
free weights, as well as, a stationary bike and
stairclimber for the last 20 years.
