New Record?

We received this picture here today at HuntingNet.Com, anyone know anything about it? Could be a new Kansas state record.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks an awful lot like a pic that was circulating about 2 years ago of a Kansas bowkill. I recognize the building in the background.

Like I said, I could be wrong, but it sure looks familiar.

I agree with eastwood, it does appear a bit odd...especially if you look at the base of the right antler and notice the hide in the forehead area appears to be scrunched up, ain't seen that happen before!

Hey maybe it is legit and the deer just got a new do at the salon for rut;) But it seems rather odd this tuft...look and see if you agree!

AKA is going to say that picture is fake also due to a swollen prostrate gland

Please let me recant my previous statement based on the new evidence brought forth. [:o]

I found that picture on the Web two years ago. It's not a deer that was recently killed.

this individual is obviously very good with photoshop! this is without a doubt a live deer cut out of a picture, turned at 60 degree angle and pasted in picture of a pickup truck bed. the antlers however.... fabricated! the only way im going to buy this one is if this gentlemen sends me a cut of tenderloin for me to test, at which point i will re-evaluate my opinion!

NEXT!!!!

old, new, oh well, still one heck of a deer

THATS HIM!!! Thats the buck I was asking about in my post yesterday. The pics being old WOULD explain why their isnt more of a ruckus right now about a possible "new typical record". The pics I saw didnt include that side pic shot. That angle shows that the buck has to many abnormal and nonsymetrical points to endager the Hanson Buck from its lofty perch.

BUT that is still one AWESOME buck!

Old pic, new pic, whatever. It's the first time I've seen it and he's an awesome buck. I'd pay $5.00 to get a shot at one like that!;)

Trying to justify shooting dinks with pretty pics just doesn't sit well with me, I guess the guy was meat hunting, why the heck didn't he shoot a doe, they are every bit as tender as that young buck he got!

Listen "Huntingnet Staff". Why don't you ease up on posting these pictures. If you actually were affliliated with this site you would have a better idea of what's current and stop with the Record deer pics. Please quit posting topics as though you have some official status with this site. Because you do not.

WR, you are wrong with your assumption. The maker of this post is in fact a member of the front office of HNI.

Go back where you were hiding sweetwater. Somebody needs to compare those two's #.

Will the real hunting net staff step to the plate.

Nub, you are wrong also.
