Default TEXAS RESULTS

Well its good to be back from a successful hunt, mt father and i both scored nice bucks. I would say in 4 days of hunting we saw between the two of us 100-125 bucks. Had the oportunity and many more on other larger bucks
to shoot a 5 1/2 yr old mature 9pt that was 21 inches inside and had to do it. My dad killed a 21 inch 8 pt with a kicker off his G-2 and real nice mass. Will hopefully post pictures later. Hope everyone has a great end to a awesome hunting season.

A small point...

A section is one square mile of land - which is 640 acres. If you were hunting on a parcel that is 10 miles by 10 miles then you were actually hunting on 100 sections (or 64,000 acres). If you were hunting on a piece of land that was 10 miles by 1 mile - then that would be 10 sections (or 6,400 acres).

Congratulations on the hunt.

Man im going to tell you i have been down there three times, and the deer never seem to amaze me, we hunted feeders in AM, rattled in late morning and fields or food plots in evening, when the bucks in southwest texas are in rut it is an amazing thing
