Don't overhunt a stand. Even if it's the only stand you have - don't hunt it if the wind is wrong. Stalk instead if you have to be in the woods.

And, as long as there's a big focus on crapping in the woods, always carry your knife in case you have to cut your skivvies off and then into pieces to finish up business.

And of course, if you come upon an electric fence, don't pee on it.:D

through out my short hunting career the biggest thing my dad has ingrained into me would be the fact that the deer live in the forest so don't worry about time. Basically the deer arn't only around in the morning or at night.

I have been hunting for four years now and have to educate myself the hard way since none of my family members hunt nor wish to. So thanks for the tips my new dads, uncles, and brothers.:D

its my pleasure , there are many many years of hunting expierience to be had at this site.ive been hunting for 25 years and i learn a few things every day!
