Default Holy buck!

A hunting buddy took the biggest buck ive ever seen in person on Wednesday with a muzzleloader. He was walking to his watch and this fella jumped up. bang! one shot through the spine then took out the heart, it was down right away. Hes guessing it will score about 160. The rack is so thick, and has spurs and I dont know what you call them (the bumps and darkness on the rack) all over it. Once I get my camera developed I will post the pics on here.

Sounds like two shots to me, or a real steep downhill.

I forget where he said it hit, but it only took one shot and it dropped right away. The bullet hole is behind the ribs if I remember correctly, and he said it entered near the hip then took out the heart. I cant remember, I'll find out.

mdbo, the buck in your signature looks very familiar to the one he got, except his bucks rack is taller and maybe thicker.

I finally got the pictures developed (I posted this topic Dec. 6) Sorry about the quality, and I took some horrible pics, cutting off the top of the rack. The last pic is of my dads first deer mount from 1983. I cleaned it up with pledge etc then took a picture of it..
