That's great!!!! Congrat's on the fine bucks. My brother and I both took fine 8 points within 15 minutes earlier this year. Great feeling......enjoy!!

Yes it is Trophy....we have one more week of gun season, and then two weeks of primitive weapon following that. I'm hunting big boy now. I have seen him twice. I have let countless does and bucks walk waiting for him the past two weeks.

Tall 12 point (I think). Spread is greater than 20"...certainly a 150 class deer but not bigger than that. The bad thing about it is we won't get to hunt this property next year during gun season as it is being developed into a subdivision. I can't say "I'll get him next year!" It's now or never for this buck and I believe he has gone back to his daytime hiding routine but our rut is still not over so he might make a mistake.

Bob I must have been sleeping at the wheel when you asked about my son, he was in Afghanistan when you asked and still is, he will be coming home in June or July, he was bummed about being there over the holidays but is doing better now. Glad to hear your son is home now.
