11 year old Arkanas boy killed in hunting accident on his birthday
This boy went to my son' s elementary school. It has devastated this small community and the family is in need of help with the funeral expenses. My wife and I are making a contribution and I thought some of you in this web community might be interested in helping out as well. Just a couple of bucks from each person would add up quickly. The memorial fund info is in the article. FYI, he was with his grandfather when it happened. My heart goes out to that poor man.

Man that is heart breaking, I can not imaginee what the family is going through right now, I printed out the article to where I can put something in towards the funeral. Do you know when the funeral is?

Thats awfully nice of you. I'm guessing the funeral is tomorrow or Thursday, but the bank will keep the memorial fund account open for some time and disburse the funds as they add up, I'm sure. You can ask them at the bank what their plans are when you contact them. Here's the number by the way...looked it up in the phone book so I could call them myself later today

FYI......
I phoned information for the bank in the article and they were not listed. I did find a branch in Conway AR that also has a fund set up for the boys family. They don't know when the funeral is scheduled but welcomed any support.

I will sending off a small gift today. I wish I could do more but I'm currently purchasing a house for my wifes oncologist!

You guys are the best. I dont know this family myself (their boy was a few years older than my son) but I know from what some of the people at the school tell me that they are not financially well-off...like many of us here in small-town Arkansas. Any help will be a blessing for them.
