need help in school project
 

Hey folks! I' m doing a project in my folklore class about how people in folk groups communicate using message boards and chat rooms, and I was wondering if I could have you fine folks' permission to use your screen names and posts in the paper. If it' s ok with you, please respond to this thread with an affirmative response of some kind. I can even omit the screen names if you prefer. Thanks a lot to anyone that helps me out.

Are we a folk group? I always thought of ourselves as a serious outdoor sportsmen discussion group. [&:]

A folk group is any group of people with something in common with traditions, and practices to go along with it. Hunters are most definetly a folk group, and the members of this board are an even more concentrated folk group. I'm also using posts from a messge board for Johnny Cash fans, one for Irish Republicans, (has a lot of ex and current IRA members on it) and even an adult website's message board (just to show how diverse the selection of folk groups on the internet is).
