This will be my first year out in OH. I got a late start and will be checking otu some public land this weekend. I think that I will skip opening day and go Tuesday instead. I hope to miss all of the yahoos throwing lead around in the woods. A buddy told me about some not so heavily hunted public land and gave me a hint on where to go. He can' t go out this year due to an ilness in the family.
I don' t have big hopes up as I haven' t out in the work needed for a buck, I just hope to harvest a doe for some meat this year.
