RE: 2003 Buck pic
Saskbucks, yeap it's true a kid near Debden shot a 212 gross/206 net (green) in october with the bow, right now he is looking at worlds #1 typical P&Y deer. I just heard on saturday he was hunting a 190's typical and then this guy appeared out of the blue...darn the bad luck some have!
Ryan White (Orion) taxi in MJ shot a NT with his ML 220 gross, very cool looking deer.
I haven't talked to Brad since last Weds till then no go on the 5x6 for Jim. I assume it didn't happen b/c you can bet I'd have heard the whole story.
Anyways great deer and you really should make plans to chase the wapiti, I love whitetails but elk are simply amazing. Just beware once you get bit by the elk bug you may never return the same again

Skeeter,
I actually saw the buck that Jim shot 2 Saturdays ago at the Stoon Inn....He had taken it on Wed...it's a long main beamed 5 x 4 with a drop tine and a kicker coming off the base of the right antler...almost like a dolphin diving out of the base
