Sika/Sitka vs. Columbia(n) Blacktail?
 
Hello,
Can anyone please explain the differences between these Blacktail species other then where they are located?

from what i understand, they are related to mule deer, but have like small tight racks similar in structure to the whitetail, but it is smaller. their racks are normally dark colored. thats all i know. sorry

Don' t know anything about your actual question. However, a sika is a small deer related to the elk and has antlers resembling an elk.

The Sitka (sp?) blacktail is a cousin of a mule deer.
