Ready for a weekend off from hunting!
 

I never thought I' d see the day, but bow season starts here in Arkansas Oct. 1. If you count morning and evening hunts, and the hunts in the evenings after work, by the time the Nov. 8 gun hunt opened, I' d already been in a stand 30 plus times.... Gun season closed Sunday, I came in by 5:30 and by 7:30 I was sick as a dog and I' ve lost 10 pounds since the season started. But I' ll be ready come Thanksgiving morning with 1 tag left to fill!!!

yah i hear ya there, sometimes a break from hunting and just zoneing out is good. once the seasons start its just rush rush rush.

I could hunt every day. If you get tired just take a little snooze in the woods.
Remember we were born to hunt and forced to work!

I' ve got arthritis in my back and hunting was just killing it, but I couldn' t stand to not hunt while I' ve got tags. I started October 1st. I took my 5th deer Nov 9 and am now on a month break. I have one more tag I can fill during late muzzleloader starting Dec. 8. I' ll be ready to hunt again but I hope it' s not too cold.

It must be nice to be able to get out there that much. ;)
