How high would yall climb in a climber?

I personally only climb to roughly 15 feet in thick woods and no more than 20 in open areas. Anything higher than that I start to tug on my safety belt every 10 minutes just to see if it' s still there.:D

I usually never go below 20' and most times I' m 25-30' . Just depends on the cover and the area where I' m hunting.

Last year, in my first time ever in a climber I got to about 33' so I could see over a large thicket. It made me really nervous...especially after the wind picked up a little. After a couple hours of rocking back and forth I decided to take it down to about 20' for a little piece of mind. From that point on I' ve decided climbers are the way to go. I' ve hunted from 12-16' ladder stands my whole life...it was amazing how much more you can see.

I usually try to hunt 25' , if the thickness of the woods will allow it.

depends on area in pines 15-18 ft in hardwoods so i can see 30-35 ft.

I' ve gone to 25 ft so far. I have been in a couple trees where I could have went higher but my pull rope isn' t long enough.

As high as I can see. I climbed 48' a couple of times last year.

Depends on what the tree will allow. If at all possible I like to be between 20 and 25 ft.

I keep it low, about 15 feet. When my bow lifts off the ground I know I am at my height. I like the shot angle from there and I never get detected. I also make sure I have a good tree with good cover and I face away from the direction the deer will be coming from. And all the other things we do to go undetected. I just don' t have a need to get any higher. Plus I am a more uncomfortable the higher I go.

As high as the tree will allow,heights don' t bother me.I usually climb until my pull rope stops me.

48 ft! Ya' ll have more faith in your climbers than I do in mine. 15-20 for me.

It should depend on conditions doesn' t make much sense to go 100 foot in the air if ya can' t see the target because of trees, etc... Every place is different and every person is different so it depends on alot of factors

15-16 feet. Any higher and I might get a little unsteady in my climber. [:o]

I don' t like a climber because it really limits the tree I can use. In my area the trees aren' t always cooperative, straight and tall that is!

My chain ons are usually set between 15-20 ft.

I used to be a tree surgeon, so I like to go high up. Most of the time I dont even use a stand.. just rope and harness. Not as comfortable, but less hassle than carrying a stand (public land).

The area really makes a difference. I wouldn' t feel comfortable in a climber over 30 feet.
But I do climb about 55-60 feet in a huge pine tree for rifle hunting. Nice big branches, just sit on them. I feel way more comfortable 55 ft in this tree with no stand than I do 15 ft up in a climber with no branches around me.

48 feet, my god you guys like to get high, thats just about to the max of my shooting range with a bow if I shoot straight down :), well almost anyway. I have never used a climber but would like to give it a go. For me its been a 12' ladder stand max.

I' d have to say twenty feet is my max. Higher than that I get a little vertigo. Also branches from other trees get in the way.

I' ve never used one, its not really the fear of heights its the sudden stop at the bottom that keeps me from trying. The ' THUD' at the bottom-na thats ok.:)- Id like too but i cant seem to get over 15-ft up and just cant seem to get much higher-straps are still there but....so i dont get up any higher then that--personal thing i guess.

I like 17' to 22' .
