How do you prepare for your hunt?

What clothes do you wear? Scent killer? How do you go about scouting? Rifle zeroing? What do ya do?

I wear camo wrangler jeans sometimes. Or a blue pair of levi' s. I wore a pair of my better halfs sweat pants under my jeans this weekend since it was cold (she is small so they fit me tight). I wear a brown jacket, makes me look like a deer but I' ll take my chance. I don' t use any cover scents. Sometimes I spray a little doe pee on my boots before I walk in. Other than that I don' t do anything special in preparation

I just get up and go. Nothing special, I' m in and out of the woods all year long so no special scouting needed. No cover scents, as said, I' m a regular scent in the woods. Clothes, whatever is handy, maybe camo maybe not.

We have to wear Blaze Oarange for one garmet. Other than that the weather is boss. It can be from 65 above to 20 below during Deer season in the Dakotas. I reload shells and Sharpen knives and get the meat processing tools ready. I like to Make some burger and sausage and we like to can some deer meat. Most of our hunting is Ambushing the mule deer when they come out of the river breaks to feed on the winter wheat and hay stacks.

For gun hunting I just dress according to the weather and throw on my blaze orange. All my scouting is done prior to and during bow season.
