So ol' bill goes over there pays em, oops.. REALTREE pays em and boom u got that trophy buck!!!!!! Then he says ooo man that was such a hard hunt man we trued and tried.... yah yah bologni. Ranches- u r garanteed to see 100 bucks a day 20 trophies. now yah think about it.

This guy is a joke. You do get to see some footage of good deer on his programs, and that is always interesting. I won't fault him for what he does, but he would'nt find a spike to shoot on my land. Take away the fences and the guides and I wonder what kind of hunter Bill is.

If I remember correctly, Bill Jordan is not all that popular on this board. Old news.

Didn't see you guys on the last Monster Bucks Video. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> How long have you known Bill? There certainly aren't many hunting shows out there that don't use the same resources he does to get good film of hunting quality bucks. Bashing someone you don't truely know(Although I'm assuming that, for all I know you might be a former employee. But I doubt it). Seems someone always hates hunting show hosts. Jealousy? I know I am. Would love to be able to make a good living by hunting and fishing.

As far as game farms are concerned they are what they are. I've hunted pheasant several times on them and it's quite enjoyable. Don't believe I'd care to hunt deer or elk on them though.

Enough said!

I for one am a big fan of Bill Jordan and Michael Waddel and David Blanton. For one reason I'd bet money on it that theyve been hunting their whole life and know a lot more about hunting than a lot of guys here. Probably not everyone here but i bet they know a lot. I have seen on there videos of places that do not have high fences. If they hunted a 50000 acre fenced in area i bet it wouldnt be that much different except for who hunts there. I mean the deer around here i would guarantee some of them dont travel across 50,000 acres. It may be a little easier because the guides are the ones doing all the scouting and they have to do a damn good job because Bill Jordan has to make a living off his business. I for one probably would not buy his videos if they were shooting does and scrub bucks. Any deer can be a trophy to that particular person but for people to buy the video i dont think they can be putting small deer on there. Its not like those deer are in 100 acre high fenced areas and im sure they are not tame deer.

Its a business, they would never survive ,or be able to have 24 TV hunts with trophys in a season without the preserves.

I like Bill Jordan and Russell Thornberry. I enjoy watching &quot;hunting TV&quot; in the off season even if I have to take a little salt with some of it. I sure don't believe that Jordan is on garanteed &quot;shooting farms&quot; all the time.

I have seen a picture of Bill Jordans mounts from before he ever started the whole RealTree thing. In that &quot;prerealtree&quot; picture he has about 15 bucks that go 130 or better. Maybe that will give you some insight as to what kind of hunter he is. Bill was killing big ones long before Realtree. I personally am a Toxy Haas fan, but thats me.

I don't know what to think of Bill Jordan. ALL of his hunts are on ranches. He has LOTS of nice deer though. I have never personally met the guy and I don't know EXACTLY what goes on with these hunts. I would venture to guess that it is EASIER than unguided hunts, but I am not entirely sure. You never know, he might work his A$$ off for those deer. I guess we will never know, unless someone invites Bill Jordan and the &quot;crew&quot; to their turf to see how good of a hunter he really is.

Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)
