I do the work and Dad kills the big one.
I sat up his stand gave him a coat and cleaned his gun for him and he is only in the stand 15 minutes and he kills this monster. 11 points with 2 stickers and 19 1/2 inch spread. I cant get the image to load on here email for a pic.

I' ve seen Beanies ( LL Bean catalog people) walk out the first day of hunting season their first day of hunting EVER and tag huge deer, and then sit and talk at the gas station about how " oh it was easy, I got my gear from LL Bean, Im a hunter, see my deer?"

Congrats to your dad and to you for helping him out. I have done all the scouting, stand prep, gear prep, etc. for my dad for years. The last two years I have even given up my proven stands so he can have a shot at a nice buck too. I would rather see him get one than me. He put the fire in my belly for this great sport and I feel it is my duty to give back. He appreciates my efforts and we have a great time every year regardless of whats hanging on the " meat pole" at the end of the season.

I do not know how to post pictures either but if you get it to the right person they will post it for you. Good work on the deer, your dad killing the buck is almost like you did it.
