Hey Yall I Live In NC and i just wanted to know is the rut kickin or is it just starting? im trying to pick another area or hunt the same.[8D]

The rut is just now getting going where I hunt in Texas, and yet here I sit
on the computer.

big eon where at in NC? i can tell what is going on. i just got a hold of a farm that i can hunt and this morning was my first time out in 3 or 4 weeks. lots of rubs but hardly any scrapes. and seen no deer. either it has just finished is is just fixing to start:)

I live in mooresvlle but hunt in stokes county north of winston, and as of monday the rut had not quite started but from talking with my partner he says its now just underway up there , hope this helps!

I live in elizabeth city and hunt in pasquotank and camden counties. The deer have really started opening up scrapes in the last week. I have seen some rubs but not as many as usual. Generally, Thanksgiving week is when the rut really kicks in up here. Tony:D

Person county here(north central NC). Ruts in full swing here baby!!!!!!!!!! Saw 6 does being chase by a small but nice 9pter(no trophy) at 230pm. also saw nice 8 chasein' a hot one in the wood around prime time 515pm. Lots of activity here exept for the one really windy day we had. I' ve seen deer moving at all times of the day this past week. Only reason I' m on this stupid computer is because it' s sunday. Had 2 bucks( a 7pt basket rack and a tall(maybe 8" ) spike) both traveling alone yesterday evening walk right under my tree. Happy huntin'
