Connor got a nice doe on the first day of the PA Youth season.

He made a great shot at 50 yards and broke both shoulders. .350 legend 180gr power point excited leaving the shoulders a wreck and both lungs destroyed.

Deer went about 30 yards.

Congratulations to your son! I had my granddaughter out yesterday and saw absolutely no deer at all. We are heading back out today and it mostly will consist of riding the dirt roads as it will be raining all day. Hopefully she will get to see one today..

Well, my granddaughter never got a deer on youth day hunting this year. We did get to see 2 and no shots. The rain stopped for a while so I tried to convince her to walk in near a scrape line is.. The scrape line is only around 150 yards from my trail cam. That trail cam has 4 young bucks on it but she didn’t want to walk in there. I was hoping she would so that I could try and call one of those young bucks in for her. But that wasn’t going to happen.. I will try and get her out again sometime during our rifle season…
