Anyone using one of these in archery season? If so how has it worked for you?

I don't think demo or beau actually hunt deer so you probably won't get a reply. Set one up and let us know.

Looks like a gimmick to me.

But sometimes gimmicks work.

I've always just broke a branch down, stripping it and putting in a mock scrape underneath. If there wasn't a suitable tree with low enough hanging branches we would either cut a branch and rope hang it from a tree close enough to the trail to be attractive to a buck or sometimes we would dig in a 2x4, attach an arm and hang a licking branch off it with a mock scrape. Either way, we would always use a natural branch or vine to hang for licking. Just don't think a plastic licker would go over to well.

I reckon I will find out. I have made mock scrapes under a low hanging branch but never had much lick with it. I won't know if The BuckStik works till I try it. I have seen videos of buck working it over.
