I am still waiting on hearing how this buck will score under MASTC.. The provision here for muzzleloader is a score of 125. I was looking at a 10 pointer that was recently scored. It was 4 inches narrower on the outside spread and shorter G1s. The extra 2 points only added 6points to it. By looking at the pictures most of the other points looked shorter? That one scored 137 with the deductions. I can’t really say what mine will score even though it looked to be a heavier rack because it is at the taxidermist shop. I had asked if it was scored yet. He said not yet but will be getting done shortly. I am guessing it might be close to 130 after looking at the info and rack of that 10 pointer. So I am hopeful that it will cross the 125 score and put it in the Maine book for me. But, all in all I am still very pleased with my buck..

I picked my mount up this morning! I felt he did an awesome job at it. The taxidermist scored it for me and told me it scored 140 after deductions which was not many on it. Unfortunately the taxidermist can’t score for the state because of a so called conflict of interest. So I am now on the hunt for an official scorer to score it. It only needs 125 for a score under Maine Antler &Scull Trophy Club.. I am sorry but can’t post any pictures on here anymore..
