Mock Scrapes
 

Me and my fiance started hunting together this year. We did something new for both of us this year, and set up mock scrapes near our hunting spot. How soon can you go back after setting up mock scrapes for them to work the best? And how often should you hunt them?

You can check your scrape without getting close with binoculars. You will not see results till the rut starts.

Freshen scrape with doe urine every 3 days. Keep at it until the rut is over. Sometimes the scrape will get results right away and sometimes it takes a while to get them to use it. Make sure you have a hanging branch above the scrap so they can lick it.
