Any Saddle Hunters Here?
 

I've been saddle hunting for several years now and it is by far my favorite method of hunting! Any other saddle hunters on this forum. Would you agree or disagree about it being the best way to hunt?

I would disagree. First of all there is no best way to hunt, the areas people hunt are different therefore requiring different tactics. Next, a saddle leaves you out in the wind and rain and depending on the time of the year or the particular day can leave you wet, cold and ,miserable and ready to leave the stand early. At my age, I am done dealing with that. Lastly, unless you are hunting in the woods your elevation leaves a lot of areas that deer may be in but you cant see them. I prefer to be off the ground for good visibility.
