World Record and no-one knows
I am amazed that a world record whitetail non-typical has been killed and no one has pictures of it. I have seen the pictures of the deer in velvet and all that but where is the deer and photographs now that it has been harvested. This thing has got to be to big to keep a secret. Lets see him, and here the rest of the story. Ant info would be nice, i heard the kids dad wont let the photos be released???

RE: World Record and no-one knows
True you are, trophy. They will not release any photos because North American Whitetail has the rights to the story. Unfortunately there will be no info until then.
There is some confusion about which buck was havested, though. There is a photo out now of a buck that does not look like the Albia Buck but some say it may be him. Lots of confusion. I guess we will have to wait and see. |
RE: World Record and no-one knows
There have been over thirty hits and no one knows much about this deer. A world record killed by a kid, something isnt right about this story, anybody agree, like it is a big secret, this is history being made

RE: World Record and no-one knows
When will the magazine come out with the story? Are they waiting for the madatory 60 day drying period? Will they also wait for it to be scored officially and all that stuff?

RE: World Record and no-one knows
The DNR is is still testing the buck to when it was shoot. There are some rumors that the kid didnt shot it the dad did so who knows what the deal really is.

RE: World Record and no-one knows
Whenever a buck that big is killed there are always rumors. Too bad jealously plays such a big role in hunting accomplishments.

RE: World Record and no-one knows
I heard something about this a couple weeks ago but now I see some confirmation through these newspaper articles. I look forward to hearing and " seeing" more when the time is appropriate. It is supposed to be one heck of a buck.

RE: World Record and no-one knows
What we are seeing right now is the future of all world record bucks, this father and son are doing what is the best thing to do for them financially and you can bet your sweet bippy that unless the next world record is killed by an idiot the same type of thing will happen.
The father and son have already hired a lawyer to handle all of the contracts and money that will come in due to this record. Until it is officially scored and all the contracts are worked out we will not get the full story or see any pics of this deer, but if the pics of it on the hoof even hold a candle to what the pics after the kill are like this is a world record that will stand for a long time. |
RE: World Record and no-one knows
well said Tazman, we will just wait and see

RE: World Record and no-one knows

RE: World Record and no-one knows
ok guys the sheds are completely different from the " pictures" of the buck in velvet i mean look there is a split eyegaurd on the one in velvet but not the same as the one on the sheds and look at the left antlers eyegaurd notice all the " trash" points on it

RE: World Record and no-one knows
Is this the one the kid shot with the ML. Their were a few pictures circulating on a website if so, but don' t know which one..sorry[:' (].
BTW, there is a rumor that one of the guys in Jim Shockey' s camps here in Sask. (Big River area) could have topped Milo' s deer for #1 Typical in the world. Again just a rumor but was at a buddies helping him process some deer meat and Jim was in earlier(since he hunts his land for video footage) when he got a call from his head guide at the camp and was gone. No word if it is true or even close, so again just a rumor! |
RE: World Record and no-one knows
now that would be a nice buck, i would love to see that deer, i agree the sheds are different from the deer in velvet
