Very nice Rocky. My first was a Vt trophy 3 point about 58 years ago.

I gotcha beat. Mine was an Arkansas monster 4 point (really a spike with little forks on the ends.) I shot him 41 years ago.
What I remember most about that deer is my Dad showing me how to gut him, and trying his best to make me do most of the work. It was the last time i got help field dressing a deer.

My dad passed away this time last year. I would give anything to have a pic. of the deer and the gutting lesson.

My uncle was first on the scene with me and gave me my first lesson on field dressing a deer. No radios or phones in those days. The uncle was closest to my shot.
