Nevada hunt

Hey guys,
I lucked out and pulled archery’s tags for antelope and whitetail in nevada for the month of August into September, but I’m super new to hunting and could use some help. Thanks

Why would someone "super new to hunting" be putting in for tags in the hardest western state to draw tags in? Sounds a little funny to me.
