Default Question for N.J. Hunters

In N.J. the winter archery season,and the permit shotgun season run in january at the same time.
Are you required to wear blaze orange when bowhunting?I will be carry' n my slug gun,to cold to shoot a bow.

it is not required, but when i am on public land, i will always have on one unless i am visible from the road. i wear one in and one out, but not usually one while i am in the stand. it is too cold to pull a bow, but after you shoot a buck with the permit shotgun, the bow is your only choice if ya wanna shoot another buck.

Wow - I' m shocked to see a couple NJ guys on the forum. Hello, I' m from Emerson in Bergen County. PLanning on hunting deer in Waywayanda and the Newark Watershed near Clinton Res. - turkey too in the spring Where do you guys hunt? I am going out to Stokes this Saturday for the pheasant stocking.
