Default Best Deer Rifle and Scope

Im looking for a new whitetail rifle. I really don't know what I want, but I will say a few necessities and wants here.

Necessities:
Sub-moa
Cartridge with enough power too kill at 400-500 yards
Great SINGLE stage trigger
Under $2,000
Possible to open the bolt with the saftey on
Not a plain synthetic stock or very plain wood stock
Less than 20 ft-lbs of recoil out of a 9-ish lb gun
At most 8 lbs bare
Wants:
Preferably grade 3 or more wood stock
Less than 90 degree bolt throw
Magazine should go in nice and easy
Smooth bolt
Under 7 lbs

Now for a scope:

Necessities:
Low end of 4x or less
High end of 15x or more
Less than $1500
FFP
Less than 2.5 lbs
Parralax goes down to 50 yards or lower
Obviously clear, durable, high quality
MOA
50mm objective or more
30mm tube or more
Wants:
Ballistic turret capability
Bdc reticle/reticle with hash lines

Not sure if this exists, but if it does I will be a happy man! Thanks in advance for everything.

I thought you bought a 270. You realize that with a 10" target area on a buck, you could have a 2 MOA rifle and still be fine out to 500 yards?

I would say, do your homework. Lot's of rifles will fit the 400-500 yard bill, in fact, most shooters can't live up to the capabilities of their rifles. Same with scopes, lot's of good one's out there, lot's of bad one's too. Do some research and put together a combo that will fit your needs.

Agreed. Your wish list sounds like some gunwriter regurgitated a bunch of PR stuff from a rifle company (no offense). With your 500 yard limit, just about any rifle/deer caliber will work. The deer won't know if you spent $500 on some combo deal or $2,000+ on some customized rig.
