Default What is the best way to spook a deer?

Hi Everyone! As deer getting closer to me, I find it hard not to scare them away. Such a hard time, but I am looking for the day to have a perfect hunt. I was reading this article https://www.toolazine.com/spook-deer/ and looking for more strategies.
I know some of you are hardcore in hunting deer. Any tips are highly appreciated. Thanks.

Just walk up to the deer and say BOO
as you slap'em on the butt.

Now seriously. When I’m in a tree stand and it’s getting too dark for a good shot and the deer just are hanging around, I have barked at them like a little yappy dog. The deer rocket out of there and don’t pinpoint where I am so the next time I hunt, they don’t know where I was.

No seriously, this happened to me during the last morning of season.

Six does walked out about 236 yards into the field below the hill I was on. Too far for my 327 Federal, I grabbed the 300 Weatherby and put some venison on the ground. The other five does didn't know what happened, and after milling about for 10 minutes, they started my direction. Once they crested the smaller hill in front of me, I picked one out, put the Encore's crosshairs on her, and got the second one.

So looking for ideas on not spooking them as you get out of your treestand...…
When I decide to leave, I take a real good look around...Usually I do this at last shooting/legal light. Amazing how often that is when I spot my deer I end up shooting. If I don't want to shoot and I have deer around, I hang in there until it is as dark as possible, and just quietly leave. Not much you can do if you still spook them, but I don't think it has ever spooked them enough to warn them away for any amount of time.
Bear hunting from a stand....different game. They like to show up the same time...last light. I turn on my light and just leave as I normally would without fanfare. they are pretty mellow and just wander off.
