Good Scents or Nonsense ?
 

Several very good hunters I know are telling me that " Bowhunters Secret Formula" , made by Whitetail Formulas, works like a charm. I dont use liquid scents, as I have had too many bad experiences with them spooking deer. I prefer HS Scent Wafers because Ive seen them work well in a variety of situations. Is this business about " Bowhunters Secret Formula" for real ??

i use liquid scents regularly. i have had deer still spoke becauseof them smelling me. i do not feel however they smelt because they smelled the scent i had on....probably a lac there of! chances are that is your problem as well! it takes more preperation than just some scent spray to become almost scentless in the woods. i am sure you know this! i personally leave my hunting close on the line outside for at least a month prior to the opening day ...rain or shine!!!! the best way to wash out any old scent. Hopefully there are enough rainless day' s before the season opener so they dry! that is the only problem there. never been a big problam though! in my opinion that is the best scent eliminator! as far as the rest of the season goes i put them in a scent free bag (that also hangs out with the clthes) w/ some cedar branches in w/ them! use whatever your surroundings may have in them! best of luck too ya out there!
