Saddle Hunting

I currently use a lone wolf wide sit and climb. I’ve been watching lots of YouTube videos raving about how comfortable saddles are. However, none of the guys are overweight in the videos. My question is: Are their any fat guys out there using saddles and if so, how comfortable are they?

I spent 12 years as a AT&T line man, we spent hours on hooks and with a belt, its doable but certainly not comfortable after a few hours
for the few who don,t know a tree saddle is basically a nylon strap seat type swing
,you use to support your weight along with a very small support ledge you stand on,
the advantage is its a bit less weight and easy to transport,
but youll need screw or belt on tree steps to climb the tree/

a climbing tree stand like a tree lounge is in my opinion a far better option
watch all the videos

I admit, the prospect looks interesting (though currently the costs of purchasing one of the saddles is somewhat prohibitive), but one would really have to get up high to avoid getting busted by wind in areas where is swirls a lot.
I'd rather go 30' in a climber than a saddle.

if you have fabrication measuring and design skills and access to a decent sewing machine or know someone that does
you can rather easily build a very effective climbing belt, and saddle for under $100-$120
