2018 youth hunt.
She had her heart set on a buck she named "spooky dodger" but we only had 2 days to hunt and had to drive 8 hours over the weekend between going hunting and playing softball with very little sleep. Ole dad couldn't get her a shot at her buck but she held out until the last minute and was pumped to take a big doe. I was proud of her for being patient, determined and disciplined. I hope I can get her a shot at the spooky dodger in November as I'd love nothing more than to see her dedication pay off.
She turned 9 last month |
Nice big doe

Excellent. My daughter likes to hunt turkeys. Doesn't want to shoot a deer. Anything to get them into the woods is great.

You're a good father, spending time with your daughter and showing her how to hunt.
I would've loved to have a father like you! btw "spooky dodger"? that's so cute! |
Awesome deer, getting the youth in the field is the important thing!

Good for both of you.:cool2:
