Default Trying something new

Alright, I need some assistance with my new idea. I'm wanting to try and make a molasses drip bag for this deer season. I've got the molasses and I bought some camo burlap this morning. Do I need to just make a pouch, pour some molasses in it, tie it up, and hang it out? Do I need to mix it with something else or what? I'm at a total loss. Just needing some help or advice. Thank you in advance

Hang it and see. Is it to thick? I don't think you need camo. If you are filling with food, they won't care if it is hot pink.

Never done it, but isn't the idea it will slowly drip?
