RE: Wanted: Your favorite Venison Recipes
Had to register again. Something happened to my account. Anyways, I emailed the cookbook to everyone but PAHUNTER21. I need your email address.
I think the last cookbook was put together by Christine B. It was so long ago, I just can' t remember. I hope she looks at this thread so she can set me straight. |

Simple Chili
I use stew meat but you could use any cut ((or species probably) works with beef too)) 4 cans pinto beans 2 cans green chilies ( chopped saves time) 1 can crushed tomatoes 1 can tomato sause ( unseasoned) pound or so meat ground cummin cyan pepper 1 onion As for exact measures of the spices call it to taste Saute the onion to translucent then then add the meat brown the meat and add a sprinkle of the cummin and pepper ( I use a stock pot so I don' t have to clean any extra dishes) then add the canned ingredients add enough cummin so it smells like chili and red peper to taste you should feel it in the back of your thoat and it' s perfect for most people. |
