New to North Florida Hunting

Does anyone have any tips to where a person can hunt in North Florida or South Ga? If I am reading the WMA right, you can only Gun hunt a few days and you would have to be lucky enough to get the quota hunt? Thomas Creek is close by but it seems like only 15 people can hunt each hunt dates. Am I correct or way off? Any help will be much appreciated:confused:.

Some WMA's in FL have limited entry hunts, but there are others that have longer seasons and do not require a quota permit. Apalachicola is one example. Good luck!
