Texas bucks

New member to the site here. Hello everyone. Dedicating my hunting this year to public lands only. Don't like paying the yearly dues for leases and personally think feeders take away from the challenge and experience of hunting. IMO. Was wondering if anyone here is seeing true rutting bucks in north Texas yet. Been seeing scrapes popping up but bucks still running together. Anyone seeing different.

Nope. No idea on Texas. It's heating up in Ohio and PA this week though. Lots of small bucks chasing. Saw a BIG boy bedded up with a doe, but couldn't get close enough to them.

Thanks for the response. Listened to a podcast that was talking about the rut activity up there and they made it sound like it was really hot right now. Poison ivy on my face put me down this past week but I will be back out there tomorrow to see if bucks are in action. Good luck.
