the only problem with a 6x50 is one nights feeding and it's gone.
I planted a 150'x300'and it only lasted a few days and was gone.I planted a two acer plot with ryegrass and it did ok.
the bigger the better, sometimes you just can't plant a big place.
good luck,plant what you can.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

Needs to be larger...people talk about using old logging trails....which are not that wide but wind on forever.
My first food plot was 100'x 50'...with rye and clover mix. When it came in the deer ate the rye and the clover to the ground...i would say to start out you should use a 1/2 acre. Or consider a game feeder...if legal in your area...combined with you food plot.
Hope this helped a little.

last year i had a 120 by 75 and it lasted a while but put diffrent types of food so they dont concentrate on one type and it will go alot longer.
