Browning BXS sabot slugs
Introduced at the 2017 Shot show, this new slug design comes in both 12 and 20 ga. loads. The slug is all copper and features a polymer tip and an advertised velocity of 1600 fps. The 12 ga. slug is .58 caliber and weighs 1 oz., while the 20 ga. slug is .50 cal. and 375 gr., respectively. The slugs are optimized for increased accuracy and the additional weight maintains down range performance. Initial internet reports from magazine writers are that the slug is accurate to extended range. The slugs are reported to be available to customers this summer.
