I took my nephew hunting for the first time.
He is only 6 but he really wanted to go with me. He learned about landowners and tresspassers too. His grandfather owns the land but the adjascent landowner decided to drive through the property I was hunting to remark some fences. He even asked me if I had permission, which I responded "yes" and "do you have permission".
The whole thing recked of anti-hunting landowners. Now am explaining to him how all the land boundaries and permission thing works. At least I had something else to teach the kid. If I was alone I would have been much ruder about the situation but good sportsmanship and positive attitudes are the impressions I want to leave with a kid. I will take the situation to the landowner.
We still seen some deer anyway so it worked out.
