I've been hunting so long that my life sized mount of an Irish Elk is beginning to look a little rough.

Hate to tell you but there are still a lot of places you can do that. You just have to get on the right side of the Mississippi and PA ain't on the right side.

Been hunting so long that the muzzle loader was cutting-edge technology, not just a trend to extend the season! :)

I have been hunting so long that I remember when you exited the woods a mile from your car and passersbys would stop and ask you if you needed a lift even though you were carrying a gun.

I've been hunting long enough that I don't feel any need to present myself as a braggart or know it all.

I have been hnting so long I remember when the only way to load a rifle was pouring powder down the barrel. And some complained we should not hunt that way because it gave the hunter an unfair advantage. It was not "ethical".
