Generally, MN opens on the first Saturday of Nov. I've seen it as early as the 2nd of the month and as late as the 9th. Depending on how the calendar lays out that year.
But that also depends on which zone you want to hunt in.

I will be splitting my hunting between my area just South of Austin, and my spot up just South of Owatona. Sounds like its going to be in the mid 60's all weekend for us.

How'd everyone's opening day go?

1st deer down at 7:35 Sat. morning (my daughter, 1st deer ever and 1st of the season for us).
2nd deer at 3:30 Sun. afternoon (my brother).
So far, 2 for 6 hunters with two more weekends to go.
Saw 3 more myself, but no doe tags for me this year. So no deer yet for me.
