Default Ft. Stewart

Has anyone hunted Ft. Stewart recently.

Im new to the area, the scouting ive done showed me a lot of tracks, a couple of buck beds literally right next to dirt roads in the thickest stuff you can imagine.

On the eastern side is very wet, standing water a lot of places.

Also I consistently see 10+ deer everytime I drive into base on 144 or 119, but ive heard you will see them, but you wont kill them.

Wow, you're the first one that has brought up Ft. Stewart. I was stationed at Ft. Stewart from '00 til the end of '03. All the deer I ever saw was usually in the ditches and there were plenty of them at night on the way home from Savannah. I never saw any monsters, though. Good luck. There are also tons of wild hogs there. Some of the thickest brush I saw was at the demo ranges (yup you guessed it I was a 12b).
