First deer
Last year I went hunting for the first time since I was six years old. Finally decided to give it a second try, I'm now 29. So my first time out I get a nice 6 point. Absolutely the best time Iv ever had anywhere. So needless to say I'm hooked. Once my dad found out he brought me several of his old hunting rifles and calls and even gave me his gun cabinet that he hand made when I was a kid. His dream finally came true. His little girl is a hunter. Well I found out from my mom that he always wanted to have the glass etched on this gun cabinet he just never did it. Well I am fairly good at that myself so I was thinking I would like to take the pictures I took of the deer that night and etch it onto the glass of his gun cabinet the problem is I didn't mount the deer. No funds. Therefore I don't have a live looking picture to have printed to trace onto the glass. Does anyone know of a way to take the picture and change it to look like a mount? Kind of a virtual mount.

Best way is to upload the photo to photobucket (you'll have to start an account if you haven't got one) and then attach it here using the link. If it takes a few times to figure it out, try posting in the "test" forum.

If you have a computer and a printer you can use a program like photoshop and enlarge a picture. You can cut and crop all you want to remove and save and get rid of all you want too. Skew it any way you want then print it out.
If you don't have the computer and printer find some one you know that does.

Nice. You'll always remember the first deer. Got my first one nearly 45 years ago. Just a little forkhorn mulie but the antlers are still on the wall. Last year I shot numbers 88 and 89 but of all those deer I can still remember every second of the hunt for that first one and many of the others are only footnotes in my journal.
