I' m new to this forum, have been hunting for about 15 years. I have a few questions, Everyone here seems to be pretty knowledgeable. In the past few years, it has been so warm where I hunt, (Zone 157) in Kanabec Cty. MN. I can practically sit in my stand in shorts! It seems that the rut is usually inspired by a cold weather snap in November. I don' t know if that' s true.
What season do you suppose we will be in during 11/8-11/24 hunt? I saw a few signs of rut last year, but not much. This year seems like it' s going to be warm again. I don' t want to rattle/grunt when I shouldn' t. Maybe I should smoke a cigarette, have a can of beer, pee all over my stand area, and shoot a deer every year like my comrades?
Are there techniques for attracting does? We have a ton!

Make sure the woods you are hunting have deer in them. :D
