The first one.

Saw my first fawn of the season a bit ago. Seen a doe down by the creek that just stepped out of the woods west of the house. She was feeding a bit as she was going across they yard so I was watching her then the little toot stepped out. Can't be more than a couple days old

That's the truth of it!

One of my great experiences trampin' through the woods was nearly stepping on one nestled in the brambles. Gave a bleat and shot out from under me white spots spots and all just as my boot was coming down. Startled the heck out of me.

As you say, cute!

Nearly stepped on this one turkey hunting 2 years ago. It never moved an inch!

My first sighting last year was while mowing lawn. it was laying in the wife's flower bed, it stayed there even though I had come within a foot of it. I even stopped the mower and went and got Kare to see it We got pictures but stayed about 10 feet away.
We sighted that fawn in that flower bed many times thru the summer last year.
