Residential woods

This woods that I hunted this weekend was basicaly a residential woods. There are no woods really near by. There are houses all around there is a school just on the other side of the woods. In front of this woods are two fields one is a corn field the other is alfalfa field. I know there are deer in this woods I have seen them. The corn has now been taken off. I believe that the deer hide in the corn. Is it worth hunting this woods now since their hideing place is gone? The woods is not that big only about 10 acres.

RE: Residential woods

I' ve know lots of guys that hunted small patches of residential woodlands with great success. You' ve got to do a lot of scouting to find out what would keep them there or where they' re going.

Good look and hunting it is better than not hunting at all!
