How many different Cartridges?

The deer rifle thread prompted me to make this poll. The last few years I've been trying to use different guns each year, just because it keeps things exciting for me. I know some guys are 1 rifle people, and others have closets full. So how many different cartridges have you used to harvest a deer? And if you can, post what all you've used.
.44mag, .30-30, .30-06, .300Savage, .30-40, .243, 7.62X54R, 12ga Slug.. Also a compound bow and a crossbow. So I'm at 8 plus the two bows.

Hmmmmm...I gotta think about this one...

.243 Win, .243 Ackley, 6.5x284, .270 Win, 270 Wby, 30/06, 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm RUM...and a .50 cal muzzleloader. I think that's about it.

The .243 Ack and multiple .270 Wins have see the most action.

Impressive list Flags, I'm only 25... I'll get there someday. I'll be carrying a .44mag revolver this year hoping to add on with that.

my first deer was taken with my cousins 300 win mag. after that ive used my 300 H&H mag, 30-06. I use the 06 now for deer.

I only own a mod 88 Win in .308 and a marlin 1895 Guide gun in 45-70 but I have killed one deer with a 30-06 belonging to a friend of mine. The .308 I have had since 1970 and has killed more deer than I can remember since I didn't keep score, the 45-70 has taken 4 in a row and 6 hogs.

My list is small since I hate change and go with what has worked for me. I bought my first gun at 16 about 51 years ago :confused0024: and it was an 06. Gone through several guns in that caliber and have harvested many deer, elk and caribou along with smaller predators with that caliber. I have an Ithica 37 deer slayer for hunting the mid west slug gun states and have both a 54 and 50 cal ML all of which which have given up more than a few deer. I almost bought a 300 win mag for elk but the 6 I have killed the past 9 years haven't moved more than a step or two and I love the lite weight setup I have.
