Corn is not deer's favorite food, right now the oaks are dropping acorns and deer pike acorns they help put on fat. Deer will move form a food source to get to one they like better.

Corn is not a natural food for deer, they are not cattle, they have natural preferred foods, leaves, bark and buds of certain trees and shrubs, as well as ground plants. They will eat most any grain but they will always go to their preferred foods if it is available and they know when it is available.

they like corn, but they have had it awhile, they like acorns and they are just now available for the first time in 6 months.

Haha! Same here! Find oaks on your property that are producing acorns & set up a trail camera there! The deer ain't far from it.
